«قوم» بدل من الموصول، وجملة «أتتهم رسلهم» مفسرة للنبأ المتقدم، والمصدر المجرور «ليظلمهم» متعلق بخبر كان المقدر: مريدا، واللام للجحود، وجملة «ولكن كانوا» معطوفة على جملة «ما كان»، وقوله «أنفسهم» مفعول مقدم.
