«هذان خصمان» مبتدأ وخبر، جملة «اختصموا» نعت لـ«خصمان»، جملة «فالذين كفروا...» معطوفة على المستأنفة: «هذان خصمان» وجملة «قطِّعَت» خبر الموصول، الجار «من نار» متعلق بنعت لـ«ثياب»، جملة «يُصَبُّ مِنْ فَوْقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ الْحَمِيم» حال من الهاء في «لهم».
