جملة «وهم رقود» حال من الهاء في «تحسبهم»، جملة «ونقلبهم» معطوفة على جملة «تحسبهم». وجملة «وكلبهم باسط» معطوفة على «نقلبهم»، وجملة الشرط مستأنفة. الجار «منهم» متعلق بالفعل، «فرارا» نائب مفعول مطلق مرادف لعامله، واللام في «لملئت» لتأكيد الربط، والجار «منهم» متعلق بالفعل و«رعبا» تمييز.
