جملة «يتجرعه» نعت لماء، وقوله «وما هو بميت» الواو حالية، والجملة حالية من الهاء في يأتيه، و«ما» نافية تعمل عمل ليس، والباء في خبرها زائدة، وجملة «ومن ورائه عذاب» معطوفة على جملة «يأتيه الموت».
